Friendships with great prospects and even a visible progress could go sour for even the littlest but most intensely significant of things. Life comes in packs and each person operates in just one. Not two people are the same especially as it relates to strengths and weaknesses. It’s a whole lot of things to consider when you build with someone whether it’s a business partnership or a convenient collaboration. Christmas CEO is a fanciful movie for deep thoughts, to say the least; just right for the season.
A merger with Arlo Toys seemed like a perfect move unto the next career stage for Marisol Nichols (Chris) and a milestone that will “shake” the roots of the CJ brand and cause profound success. But, a signature; just one was needed.
What happened next? A friendship that was severed on the basis of conflicted interests, for seven whole years came alive again. All thanks to the Toy Drive Jamboree, an annual outreach previously solely organised by one of the duo, which birthed the deal between Christmas Winnacker and Joe Sullivan.
All she ever wanted was a career turn around with promises of more money and fame; anything that would boost business and take the whole brand to another level. Barbara Eve (Kethleen) was right on time in giving her a mouthwatering offer.
However, it seemed fate had something else in store for the entire game. The quest for balance and happiness is obviously inherent in every being and it takes just a little spark of realization before a dire manifestation happens.
Quite a surety was Paul Green‘s spoken and unspoken wishes in getting Christmas back into his life. Just maybe, love has a thing for us all; lurked in the valley of time, unfolding as it wills.
In a nutshell, the movie is embedded in a basic romance storyline with a snowy theme, soft characters and a neutral but interesting ignition of childhood dreams, friendship and love.
