Decade after decade, the quality of mediocrity has repeatedly been both explored and detested and both the exploration and detestion are ultimately determined by the degree of efforts people put in transforming their habitual practices, family traditions and general lifestyle.
For some reasons, people hate to live the mediocre life but end up embracing it through various uncorrected mistakes, unaligned lifestyle, unsettled mindset, and even the overall process of keeping up with the ideologies of an “unfit” background, when just a step towards knowledge would have saved the day.
The backgrounds of highlight are not necessarily ancestral or generic but forestanding factors that contribute to people’s choices, beliefs and view points.
Some of the deadly sponsors of mediocrity include;

•Ego
Self importance is wonderful but if you could tweak the “too much” importance you attach to yourself, then you may really see the value in others, which could be of immense benefit to you and your journey.
•Uncertainty
Nothing breaks your spirit more than being unsure. You wouldn’t want to traumatise your essence by being unconvinced about setting out, all the way, for your goals.
•Ignorance
Unawareness and cluelessness could be considered the worst of them all but that may not be totally true. It’s ONLY just as BAD. Therefore, make deliberate efforts to feed your mind with all forms of relevant knowledge, garnished with proper exposure in experience and certifications because Ignorance, they say, is a disease!
•Fear
By all means, keep check of your emotions at all times because, a single switch, off the right direction could lead to an uncontrollable surge of phobia.
Yoda said,
Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
So you may decide now to pick your choice in handling your emotions, as Bill Cosby said in his quote,
Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it.
To conquer the wars consistently instigated by an unfit background, you have to realise that you have a purposeful course to follow and therefore, must be aligned towards that end. Truthfully, it could be really hard to make moves especially the first but, it will be worth it when you just do it anyway and make the commitments thereof.
By being committed, you pay attention to the reasons you don’t want to be where you are coming from in the first place, next, you completely jump off the cliff of stereotypes because, stereotypes are those norms that’ll keep you everly comformed and static if you do not apply vigilance.
A man, well respected, even insisted thus—
If it means failing, fail…there’s a lesson in failure.
And this is not to encourage you to stand and watch things fall apart, but to be intentional in placing value to your daily endeavours and applying positive pressure until you get results no matter how many times you go down in the long run.
Do you want some encouragement?
Raise that money. Start that business. Relocate. Do it. Just do it. Explore the process. Beat the Background. Leave the fence of lukewarmness. Embrace your passion. Go to the uncomfortable place.

So full of light thank you. “I want it more than I’m afraid of it” I’ll hold that one tight. Thank you.
There’s something beautiful about your writing. It just radiates so much light and you can tell that it comes from a pure and positive soul. Kudos.
“Raise that money. Start that business. Relocate. Do it. Just do it. Explore the process. Beat the Background. Leave the fence of lukewarmness. Embrace your passion. Go to the uncomfortable place.”
Just don’t be afraid to try out that which you really want, because in the end the feeling of regret is way worse than trying and failing.
Nympha, thank you for choosing to talk about this.
Thank you everyone for your comments. May we all find the courage to explore our essence. Love and Light! ❤️
