Ever heard of indispensability? Yes that’s right. I think the both sides of anything are inevitably indispensable. Although, life has designed itself to be in such a way that whatever happens, there must be a way around it. Whatsoever! Except death which of a certainty, is the end of life. Both sides of every thing is needed for a complete action. There is always an unsure process when one side of a thing is lacking no matter how you see this. Both hands, both feet, both eyes, both nostrils, both lips, both teeth roots, both parents, both partners…
The duality of life can never be overemphasized. We need it in two(s) for life to thrive effectively. For every circumstance, there are at least two solutions either for the good or for the worse. In physics and chemistry, there is duality of matter, where both waves of particles exist in different forms when moving and when at rest. Even the existence of good and evil presents us with the boldness to associate ourselves with what we can easily relate to due to the influence of backgrounds, religions, communities, peers and even individual personalities and exposures.
Duality presents us with options and these choices are a great asset to mankind. Although the opportunity to make a preference or even effect an alternative when a particular part of a life’s duo goes awry is yet to be the most treasured privilege. Little wonder many people do not appreciate what they have until they lose it.
Spiritually, we’re made of two distinct parts; body and soul, with each part doing its bit to ensure that the purpose of life on earth is lived. And the relationship between the body and the soul is most times harmonious because the soul is a direct representative of the flesh in the supernatural realm; a mirror of life in the physical; the essence of one’s thought, personality and preferences; the energy that introduces you even before your name does; the eye of the mind, ear of the heart, the crux of intentionality.
When there is only one thing of a kind, there is usually an underlying sentiment surrounding the background of its existence and some of these sentiments include the truth that you can only take conscious steps to ensure that nothing goes wrong with it because the otherwise is ruin. However, blessed is the man who has at least two things to choose from and more blessed is he who is careful in protecting the other option.
Duality is a thing of great reserve!
