“Knowledge is Power!”
Ever wondered why the above notion is passed with same intensity as it sounds to you right now, from generation to generation? Ever?
“knowledge is Power!”
It cannot be truer than this. But what hasn’t been spread as widely as the above fact is the question- “What knowledge gives what power?” Although, subtly, most enlightened individuals know that negative knowledge begets negative power and positive knowledge, positive power. So it is right to say you must know the kind of power you desire so as to acquire the right knowledge of not, the obvious tragedy that follows the reverse, will be the other of the day!
…”people perish for lack of knowledge”
Most Christians have come across the above line in the books. This is too say that lack of knowledge is a death trap.. Death of one’s confidence, death of esteem, death of the mind. Knowledge gives one a certain edge over certain attitudes and stereotypes. Men and women alike have been blessed with the basics of knowledge and this foundation was laid right from the inception of time.
Knowledge has been established times without number as the root for creation and innovation, for growth, and for strategies. When you are in the know, you’re placed with the will to manoeuvre whatever challenges that may arise in your course of progression as human.
The world has evolved greatly and this is as a result of those— Men and Women, who submitted their will at the foot of knowledge. Learning is a process and an all-round one. To come to knowledge, you have to be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn. At every point in an individual’s life, there has to be something to be gained, dropped or even tried again.
Taking hold of your great worth and unleashing as the spirit leads is the world’s greatest investment. Laying the foundation of your success on the platform of the genuinety of your being is a transaction that will forever yield profits and this is why you can never take power away from the man/woman who knows.
Ignorance messes with you in ways you can never understand. First, because you are Ignorant, then because there’s absolutely no knowledge in ignorance that is why you see a lot of blindness and sheer illiteracy following the filth of ignorance. To be ignorant is to have neither foresight nor hindsight. Ignorance is in diverse forms; basic Ignorance, educational Ignorance, religious ignorance, Ignorance when it comes to human empathy. The worst of them all is to lack basic sense— Common sense! Anyway someone already said that common sense is not as common. But it is still inexcusable to be without the basic knowledge of what goes around you. Because knowing the basic is what puts other aspects of your growth in perspective.
Confidence is a vital part of knowledge. When you know, you’re empowered and it is either affected with positive or negative confidence. Positive confidence being possessing and spreading an aura of grace and contentment and negative by exuding sheer stupidity all the time in speech and in actions; I’m sure you’ve heard of a fool’s pride!
You’ve got the knife in one hand and the yam on the other, it is up to you, what you want to do with it. Choose ye therefore what path you want to thread. The will is yours! But, for myself and the entirety of my being, we have chosen to align with knowledge.
