Among the most underrated things is the power of consciousness and total awareness. People tend to give little thoughts to them because they do not understand the magic surrounding guarding their mind and setting standards against things that pose threat to their liberty.
Humans should at every point of their existence, be watchful and informed about the changes going on within and without them. This watchfulness is what creates a barrier between you and several “had I known(s)”
Being watchful does not mean limiting your expression or ability to thrive in your field of endeavour. You’re not expected to stop all activities associated with your specialty because you want to be aware of what happens within and without you. Many times, one cannot even control these things—the thoughts, the emotions, the lifestyle because we have been conditioned to accept them as a way of life. It only takes a deliberate and intentional move to set boundaries to what should be allowed to manifest in one’s life. It is totally a step for the individual to take by himself, for himself.
The journey to freedom is a process; a one day at a time thing and at the same time, an engagement that needs a thorough and flexible mindset. Like the Sun rises and claims the day not worrying whether the evening may come to dim it’s shine. It’s presence is filled with hope, a hope of many more sunshine. Why not be like the Sun? creating a world of your own, at your own time, without the bias of an evening?, Absorbing all the weather changes, showing up and manifesting your uniqueness and every call of day?
Why not “Live everyday as you see it” ?
The above notion has helped in curbing the insecurities associated with worrying about the future and encourages one to focus on the now, taking actions that will make tomorrow void of regrets. Now is the time to be, the time to gain, the time to accept and reject, the time to learn, unlearn and relearn all that is necessary. The time to be unapologetic for the decisions that brings peace to your being. Now is the time filled with hope and assurance. Be present, be relevant, make this moment count without bias.
