The Big Piece
The world is so intensely massive that it accommodates, despite the great population already in existence, the influx of humans being given birth to on a daily basis. These humans come in males, in females, in fair, in dark, into different families of different backgrounds, tribes and races. Fortunately, you are a part of this natural process; you have been born into YOUR own gender, special skin, distinct background, unique tribe and quality race. You have a history, traceable and even if not traceable, relatable. Now, it becomes ingrained that you begin develop a niche for yourself in the midst of the diversity; putting into use, your instincts of survival.
In the path of life which sometimes is crooked and other times straight, a lot of things come into play — your beliefs become obvious, your lifestyle becomes more pronounced, your values become known by the standards you adhere to. You observe the conditioning, adapt to the changes thrown your way, you move on when certain things you mostly have no power over(such as death) happens, you grow everyday, making mistakes, loving and hurting, placing your ego here and there, applying humility in some other aspects, experiencing the peace and the war in your mind and in the environment while subconsciously expecting the end of it all.
Most times, some of the above experiences emanate from a place of fear, uncertainty and delusion, making one to deride oneself in a bid to garner approvals for misdemeanor or sympathies for failures. But, placing yourself on a pedestal of positive pride is a trait worth acknowledging. Every known process that led to the making of a legend was borne out of the consecration of self ; the sheer drive to thrive; the continous and intentional effort in creating a luxuriant mindset; separation from the naysays; being ignorant of the negative background opinions that its sole focus is on the weakness and not the possible strength.
Knowing that you’re “The Big Piece” is a conditioning, a quality knowledge to reckon with, which if you can’t discover, no one may ever help you in the discovery. When it comes to your unmatched individuality, every other thing comes to a standstill. Because you are the only you that there is. No one or thing ever comes close. In a world of several, you’re the only one in charge of your mind, your actions, your happiness, your values, your obligations.
To attain a certain level of confidence in yourself, you need to know that we live in a world where you can showcase what you are, although with some castigations here and cheers there (which doesn’t matter anyway). This is a world of possibilities that needs a diving into and digging up. Your strength of charisma speaks for you despite “their” expectations. Your thick skin is needed in this journey of discovery and unapologetical living as “The big Piece.” It is expedient that you turn your back on the blames and stigma which the society places on unconventionality. It will only turn sour when you unhappily become an actor in the “almighty” scripted rules of the world system. It may, however, get seemingly “unwholesome” to be you, in your complete element. But don’t worry, it is custom to the journey of authenticity. Living your purpose does not assure you of comfortability. Rather, it assures you of being present in the whole process, allays the fear of dissatisfaction, maintains the power of sensitivity in you, expands your soul to accommodate more awesome experiences of yourself, patterns your unique attributes through the hallway of achievements, registers in your subconscious the true essence of happiness and the fulfilment there in.
Whenever the wave of doubt drives by, take courage in the ultimate knowing that you are the big piece in the midst of the multitude. When it comes to you, every other thing ceases to matter. You know your values; take bold steps in maintaining them while unlearning the excesses, You know your abilities; come to terms with it and develop the courage and willingness in exerting. You know your limits; become excessively particular in setting principles enough to mark the boundaries. You know your weaknesses; do not, because”the flesh is weak”, continuously indulge!
You’ve got this and you can maneuver the path leading to the ultimate enlightenment which is the hallmark of your purpose. It’s time to highlight your existence. It’s time to make it work. Be intentional in setting your limits and principled in keeping to them no matter the pressure that is always being mounted on you by yourself and the society. Spare yourself the anxiety, remove your consciousness from the field of —”had I known”, “what if”, “If it were not so”. Set your heart into influencing yourself with your personal charm and magnetism. Create a lifestyle, get hold of your special structure which conforms only to your very POWER.
