The fire element is one of intense heat; staunch attributes; a driving force emmanating from a place of pressure or the impulse to react immediately. The root upholding the individual of the fire element is that of a strong will that never fades until it’s all burned out. Truth be told, Fire has never passed the test of longevity; of long suffering and genuine patience. But worthy of note in this great element is the distinct purpose it prides in, especially in its liveliness and enthusiasm in displaying its passion and intensity. No better word has been used in the perfect description of a situation of passionate love, hatred, danger. except, of course, Fire— the enigma, the propeller, the strength, the utmost dexterity responsible for the rush we blame on ‘supernatural beings’.
There is an admirable quality of fire which I can relate to —to some extent. —The boldness in showcasing itself does not lack. You would rather not guess when you see fire burning. It’s straight forward, sparing the world of too many discoveries and mysteries, thrives on its own but manages to gain attention when it burns. Whatever value the fire element gives at any given time is usually without doubt and it is uplifting, thoroughly transparent —whether these values be love, compassion, giving, learning, or teaching, it comes with a full dose of energy and zeal.
The human Fire representative may not have an intention to hurt but because of its burning nature, it tends to affect everything around it with its passion and energy. There is always a life changing, thought evoking experience when in direct or close contact with fire. Fire hears no other language other than burn, light up, heat up. And oh! Only a miracle can save the situation if there is “fuel” to help these instincts especially when they are adversely intended. A fire branded individual is overly zealous and tends to implore hastiness in his approach to situations; this hastiness, however leads to an undoing most of the time as circumstances naturally need a calm consideration before an action is taken; even if the consideration is just for a second. Individuals that engage in the “fire brigade approach” know how inconvenient the situation usually turns out to be especially with little or no preparation for it.
The need to create a balance is really expedient for this sign as the tendency to burn out is absolutely inherent and as such, capable of destruction. Therefore, it is important that for a substitute, a level of calmness is by its side, as it reacts to an effect. The thin line between love and hate as it relates to this element is just a strike, probably resulting from a careless ignition. The excitement to engage in a new venture, especially, one with prospects is real but a calm approach is needed for its successful kick off. It would be a great opportunity for reflection(s) if therapeutic measures can be taken in curbing the rush, the push, the gush, the efflux of fiery emotions. To be in touch with a soothing tranquility in the feat of rage, Fire has to engage with its direct opposite, water. The flow is the difference as there would be, a peace that quenches the flame. If there can be a calming effect, automated within an individual during a blaze, It would be a Miracle!
