Trying so hard to swallow the above pill may seem really impossible especially for people who believe in themselves as 100%. Many are so self engrossed that they inteprete their mistakes as ice-cream toppings and their entirety as infallible. How shallow-detailed many are within their mindset! But the twist thereof is that doing ‘the best’ is overrated. You can only do ‘your best’. Your best is your most, your maximum. Emphasis on YOUR because you have your purpose and various assignments on earth mirrored and configured to suit your personality.
You know that missing spot where something has to happen for a process to be complete, where life becomes all about itself and decides to withdraw? That’s what I see as Perfection. Perfection have got to cost a life!. C’est la vie!
There is a boundary between you and perfection, a place of limit, a place where (sorry to say) your might, determination, tolerance, knowledge, abilities pause and perhaps fail you. A place responsible for the supreme price we owe life – death. That place of no self-control, no bargaining and compromises… The scariest thin line😊
And mostly the reason we keep striving to do our most while expecting a limit subconsciously.
Moving on, it’s okay to want more, it’s okay to attain heights, it’s still okay to flop in the process and try again. But it’s not okay to be perfect. The world will flaw your perfectionism, Life will strive to humble the efforts you make at various stages of your development, your abilities will be questioned. These things are liable to affect your psyche if all you did in the process was expect 100% but letting yourself go through the the tides and turns with gratitude grants you a perspective in the midst of the chaos, a hope that you can be better and the satisfaction when you’ve done your most.
